@luxet888 @Newsforce 1/2 Pl do remember, all (almost) papers deny side effects of medications even when they are listed in inserts. you can't and shouldn't trust anything.

@luxet888 @Newsforce In the paper I referenced Glycolysis dysfunction is presented as a disease-related process, not primarily a medication side effect. The thalamus is presented as a key brain region whose dysfunction contributes significantly to the pathology, not as the sole cause.

@Newsforce The highly likely reason why people with schizophrenia develop diabetes is because of the antipsychotics and how they act as d2 receptor antagonists amongst other receptors they target. This student may have an insight, but it's clear she doesn't fully understand the mechanisms.

@Newsforce I found Not One but A Ton of articles on the subject. Its known field of knowledge but against the money making business model in vogue. Hence no treatment in main stream medicine.
