$FNGR needed cash badly (only $20k cash on last qtr balance sheet). They have the cash now. The note is not immediately dilutive like an ATM but since the conversion price is about the same as the current share price it may as well be immediately dilutive. Dilution adjusts the price down, that’s just a basic concept. Fingermotion solved a temporary liquidity problem but they need to address the long term problems: negative operating income, negative operating cash flow and inability to collect on sales. These concerns will prevent meaningful price appreciation until addressed. Income on the Income Statement is not the same as actually collecting payment from the customer, and that is where the issue lies. If you are worried about shorts, shorts will remain in the trade as long as those fundamental problems exist. Short interest is almost non-existent at under 3% with CTB under 2%. There does not appear to be a lot of shorting going on here, at least not on a sustained short, maybe day trading shorts. Free float is pretty low at 40M (but not 1.6M $WOK low) so price can be manipulated up if buyers show up in strength. I don’t listen to people who say “I have buyers showing up” to drive trading decisions, as most often this is exaggeration (check track record on similar claims) but if they do show up, cool.

I am no one’s adversary. I talk about finance and filings and some people don’t like that as it upsets their narrative or they ignore filings and don’t like market data. That is a them problem. I am always open to discussing finance, accounting and filings. No emotion here - if you agree or disagree with my views it’s fine - just be able to talk like an adult. The childish stuff and insults I left behind in 5th grade.
