Not just an NHL problem. This happens in the NFL weekly too. Why are we allowing human eyes to just come up with a call on the ice/field, when these plays are so close that it’s almost nearly impossible for “definitive proof” to overturn it. Wish they’d go straight to review

Genuinely don’t care who wins, but an NHL ref who isn’t sure what happened shouldn’t be able to just say “I think this is what happened so that’s the call on the ice” when you need 100% definitive proof to overturn it. Why not just say you don’t know and go to review?
