Family violence costs the NT more than $600 million every year. To find out the NT Government funding is only going to be an extra $20million over the next 2 years feels like a betrayal. Our lives, the lives of Territory women and children, are worth more than this. #notoviolence

These policies continue to cause harm and impact us. We continue our work today to remember the strength of our Elders and honour those who were taken. This weekend also marks the start of #ReconciliationWeek , starting yesterday with the anniversary of the 1967 Referendum.

It's been a very busy, and very important few days. This past week marked #NationalSorryDay , where we paused to remember those who were, and still are, removed from their families and communities.

Our kids belong with family. This is at the heart of Tangentyere's Children Safe, Family Together family and kin care model. Ever thought of becoming a kinship carer? Just give us a shout out.
