Organized. Plenty protection for parents. Even the baby probably receives official documentation before leaving the hospital. 🇫🇷 France = “Motherhood is important but so is your quality of life.” Childcare support, healthcare, benefits… soft life with paperwork. Meanwhile African mothers are expected to give birth, entertain visitors, cook, answer “when is the next baby coming?” and attend church dedication all before their stitches even heal. Lol exactly. Many women abroad are not just sitting at home without income. They receive benefits, job protection and actual recovery time. Also, this conversation is not even about whether one income can sustain a family. It is about how societies treat women during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum recovery. Looking at it holistically, many African countries still have a very long way to go in that aspect.
