191 people have signed — but we need more support! Tree cutting in Diani is threatening our environment, biodiversity, and the future of our primates. Every tree lost means less habitat for endangered colobus monkeys and other wildlife. Sign & share: change.org/StopTreeCuttin…

Introducing Mbweni! Found abandoned near Msambweni Beach, this young vervet stole our hearts when a concerned local brought him to us in October 2022. Since then, Mbweni has thrived under our care, forming a close bond with Moshi and embracing life in the nursery.

We are delighted to report that the continuous monitoring of the trees we planted in November 2023 as part of the IKI project indicates they are thriving. Witnessing the success of our restoration projects always brings us great joy. #trees

Every Monday, the teams at Colobus Conservation meet to plan the week's activities. Whether it's maintaining the bridges, insulating electrocution hotspots, conducting census activities, etc we ensure everything is organized to support the six primate species in Diani.

We're delighted to share that, thanks to your support, and with the help of the Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC), we've initiated the insulation of electrocution hotspots, areas prone to repeated electrocution incidents of Colobus monkeys and other primates.
