Honest question for the Red Raiders out there:
Is it really worth it to have Sorsby cleared to play in 2026 if it opens the door to players betting on football in the future? The way I see it is he’s not even a real Red Raider; never played a snap for the team and all he did was take $6M under false pretenses? Would it not be better to let him burn?

@RaiderTy92 They chose not to run the ball. Your two backs in 08 combined for 1400 yards, each averaging over 5 yards a carry. They also combined for an average of 6+ catches a game for 10+ yards pop. Then add in an Eric Morris. Not so much a lack of rushing, just different football.

It’s either 2008 or 2025 and I can see arguments for either. 08 team beat only 2 teams that finished ranked, but they were #4 and #16. They also had better losses in OU and Ole Miss than 2025’s ASU blunder.
But they didn’t dominate throughout the year like 2025. Also won a conference title

If LIV shuts down, I'd make all of them play random tours around the world and have to qualify for the PGA Tour like everyone else.
Koepka and Reed apparently saw the writing on the wall and got ahead of it. Everyone who stayed to go down with the ship needs to earn their way back. Very few have shown the form necessary to compete weekly on the PGA Tour.
I know this won't happen...a few will get the Brooks Koepka treatment and be welcomed back.
