I had my ME/CFS assessment yesterday; longer than scheduled and incredibly taxing on my body and mind, to the point I've spent today on my sofa with the switch, blankets, snacks and infused iced coffee. The ME clinic haven't discharged me, instead they stated "There are various elements of our services you would benefit from" and stating intention to take it to the team, meaning a diagnosis is unfortunately looking likely now. I won't lie, the emotional and psychological aspect of a chronic condition as serious as this is unbelievably more taxing than I ever thought it would be. The constant guilt of cancelling plans, the relentless pain and brain fog is debilitating, but the grieving a life I'll never have how I had hoped fucking sucks 😫 I'd really love to meet other content creators who struggle with chronic health issues. I'm genuinely grateful for the friends I have around me and would love to meet new people too ♥️ I'd like to also remind there's some stuff on my @official_throne list which will make daily living more manageable. As some of you know, I have my ME/CFS assessment on 19th May and it looks like a diagnosis is highly likely. The fatigue, PEM, and pain have been making everyday things quite difficult lately. With the support of my mods, I’ve added some practical items to my @official_throne wishlist that would genuinely help make daily life a bit easier and more manageable (better seating, pain relief tools, heat therapy, cooking equipment, etc.). Each item has a description explaining why it would help. I’m not expecting anything at all, and there’s absolutely no pressure.
