My initial financial goals for TheFamPort were achieved in four months: provide a stable income, put all assets in a trust, and find a way to accumulate Bitcoin in the trust.
Current portfolio value: $700k
BTC: ~0.58
Aspirational goals:
Future portfolio value: $3M
BTC: 30
The hard part is that I don’t know how much time I have to achieve this before Dad passes. BTC will likely run before I get to 10% of the goal. Because of the trust structure, I can’t put most of it into BTC today, but I’m free to accumulate from trading profits.
No one in my family knows about these goals. They think I’m just taking care of Dad’s finances. I hope to pass my siblings generational wealth as a gift from Dad, which is something they would never have expected.
Not feeling pressure. This is duty. Going to do the best I can, and it will better than me doing nothing. Wish me luck!

@Alice_MiaX Are you using a database to record trades? Supabase has a great free tier and it solved this specific issue for me.

Good morning everyone
Good news
The bot took 2 trades yesterday and won both
•$135
That’s exactly what I want to see
Bad news
After a deep system check, I found some parts of the journal weren’t recording things properly
So… back to fixing
Every time I touch the system, I have to restart the bot
Which wipes the previous performance
Frustrating, but part of the process
The reality is I’m not building a basic bot
This thing has 75–100 moving parts
It’s complex
It’s detailed
And yeah… it’s going to break while being built
That’s also why Claude struggles with it
But if this all comes together the way it’s designed to…
This is going to be top level
We’re getting closer 💻📈

This may be a dumb question but I’ll ask it here anyways:
I can’t find a good way for my various AI chats to automatically sync its conversation history into a structured knowledge base. So that as I update various chats from time to time and refine context, my knowledge base automatically grows with this new info.

@TheICHpodcast Funny the people complaining in the comments. He didn’t say it would be easy he gave an example how to make $1M in a year. Yeah that’s going to take a lot of work and growth in areas you’re not comfortable with.
English

no way. we're running the same setup. $72 deposited, sitting at ~$110 right now with 11 open positions across 5 cities. biggest lesson so far: ensemble weather forecasts still disagree by 5-7°F same-day. we're using 5 APIs and the spread is brutal sometimes. what sources are you pulling from?

@Cyberhorsey @AlexFinn You can be a good person, run your business well, and be sued for mistreatment. Very common in the US unfortunately.

I have built the future
I'm now running 3 of the most powerful AI models in the world on my desk, completely privately, for just the cost of power.
3rd 512gb Mac Studio is in (Apple reached out and lent me the third one! Thanks Apple!)
Here are the models I'll be running:
• Kimi K2.5 (600gb across all 3 studios via EXO labs)
• MiniMax 2.5 (120gb on one studio)
• Qwen 3.5 (220gb on one studio)
• GOT OSS 120B Heretic (60b on one studio- completely uncensored 😈)
3 ultra powerful models coding, writing, researching, reading your posts, 24 hours a day. 7 days a week. Nonstop.
Running across 4 OpenClaws on 3 Mac Studios and a Mac Mini
A few use cases I have set up:
• Kimi K2.5 reading feature requests for Creator Buddy and building out the feature requests autonomously. My own personal product manager
• MiniMax 2.5 reading Reddit all day, looking for challenges to solve. Then building prototypes for me to review every morning. All autonomously.
Qwen 3.5 hitting the X API every hour to see top trending posts in AI and vibe coding. Turning those into video scripts for me to review hourly (this has already built me one script with over 100k views on YT)
Unlimited economic power just sitting there. No cloud APIs. No crazy API bills. No tech executives reading my logs. Totally customizable and private.
This is the future. I'm just showing it to you before it arrives

@benjaminsehl Why choose Polymarket as an example when it has a reliable SDK? Once I saw Solana where agents buy and sell I clicked away.

@MrPitbull07 Find a hybrid school or homeschool tutorial. They make homeschooling easy. They provide curriculum and lesson plans or pacing guides. In person interaction a couple of days per week in a classroom setting. Flexibility of homeschooling with enough structure and social interaction.

“This is why public school is a JOKE.
And honestly… I’m concerned for the next generation of kids.
A couple weeks ago, we pulled our kids out of school to take them on vacation.
They’re in 3rd grade, 2nd grade, and kindergarten.
We let the teachers know ahead of time.
Asked for assignments so they wouldn’t fall behind.
Their response?
“Don’t worry about it… we’ll catch them up when they get back.”
No big deal, right?
Except the day we leave… the school district starts hounding us.
Threatening to report us to the county if the kids miss any more days.
Our kids rarely miss school.
Are we seriously not allowed to take them anywhere??
Fast forward: we get back, and my son comes home with a mountain of worksheets.
No explanation.
No instruction.
Just, “Here. Figure it out.”
So he spends hours working through it over the next week.
And I’m looking at this stuff thinking… what the hell is this??
Keep in mind, I’m college-educated and run multiple successful businesses.
And I can’t even make sense of it.
Questions like:
“Sam has 155 clams. Richard gives him 137 peaches. If the cows moo while facing north, how many snow cones does he have?”
What are they even learning in there?
Then — a week later — his teacher messages us:
“He got almost all the answers wrong. He’s now failing English.”
So we reach out. Ask if he can redo the assignments.
Not just for a better grade… but so he can actually learn the material.
Her response?
“No. He can’t redo it.”
We try to work with her. Offer to compromise.
Her answer?
“Maybe you shouldn’t go on vacation.”
I’m done, dude.
Our kids are in ELEMENTARY school.
And this is already the circus we’re dealing with.
I don’t want to homeschool. I never thought I’d even consider it.
But the way this system is run?
It’s starting to look like the better option.
So here’s my honest question:
What are we supposed to do?
Because if this is the best public education can offer…
No wonder kids are falling behind.” ~Mike Wingard

@stbr0510 @DejaegherJeff @WifeDirtyTesla @TeslaCharging posted this recently about charging to 100%
x.com/teslacharging/…
Tesla Charging@TeslaCharging
Charging preparations for extreme US winter weather → If charging at home, charge to 100% → Always route to Superchargers using Tesla Navigation to precondition your battery for the fastest charging → For Model 3/Y standard range rear wheel drive: use 250kW+ Superchargers when possible as they can directly heat cold-soaked batteries, getting you back on the road faster → Use your vehicle's touchscreen or Tesla App as the source of truth for Supercharger availability → Winter driving tips: tesla.com/support/winter…
English

@DejaegherJeff @WifeDirtyTesla Tesla doesn't recommend charging to a higher SoC based on cold temps. Personally when it's super cold I bump up to 90% if needed but generally only charge between 70% to 80%. Currently 70% and to 80% with excess solar.

@gedamtekle This device is easily replaced when processors do this and it’s a check box for businesses. Square already did. Won’t be long for the others.
English

@MarioNawfal @Waymo should really try to implement a protocol to pull over and park safely when it can’t do something. For someone who is supposedly the best at autonomy, this seems like table stakes.

🇺🇸 SAN FRAN BLACKOUT – WAYMO FROZE, TESLA DROVE
Waymo’s robotaxis got a little too real last night - by completely shutting down when San Francisco’s power outage knocked out traffic lights.
Meanwhile, Teslas on FSD? Kept rolling. No drama, no headlines - just handling chaos like it’s a walk in the park.
This is what happens when you train your AI on billions of real-world miles instead of coddling it in a simulation padded with perfect data and wishful thinking.
Waymo bet on maps and order. Tesla bet on mess - and won. When the lights go out, the difference isn’t theoretical. It’s traffic.

@SenSanders @elonmusk Instead of playing politics why don’t you call the innovators and problem solve. Oh wait… you’ve never solved a problem or built anything.
English

@SenSanders You’re 5 years too late. Use the time to figure out UBI instead slowing innovation.
English

@CMantseris I don't think Tesla has anywhere near the volume of rider-only autonomous miles that Waymo has (96M for Waymo, as of today). The safety data is quite compelling for Waymo, as well.

Waymo's system, fueled by careful collection of a large volume of fully autonomous data, is the most advanced, large-scale application of embodied AI today. Very proud to see this level of engineering rigor tackling safe autonomous driving making the roads safer for everyone (and it has been nice to see various Google research collaborations with Waymo be a part of these advances!).
The insights here are foundational for how we design and safely scale all complex AI systems.
