Very proud of my new Fall 2022 welding students, fabricated and welded the new quenching tank.

Here is my Fall 2022 welding class 20 out of 24 showed up this morning ‼️

Three of these welding students are going take a 2” 6G pipe test tomorrow morning at Turner Industries in PortAllen. Pray for them please, I’ll post which three students tomorrow after we get results. I’m going to miss them, but I’m very proud of them.

Students are focused on GTAW only 5 weeks away from finishing semester, then they are off to making money 💰 money 💴 💵 ‼️

I gave two female welding students a little fabrication project to complete and they did an excellent job, everything thing was hand cut with Oxy fuel torch and welded with GTAW and GMAW. Doesn’t look like a lot of work but there is a lot of prepping to make these little grills.

Butterfly life span is typically for about a few weeks or at most a few months which also acts as a guide to human life. Butterflies try to remind us that life is short, and thus the miraculous and magical life of a butterfly teaches us to be in the moment and learn to enjoy it.

Allen Thomas AG Teacher at Lafayette High brought 11 of his welding students to visit our SLCC Welding Students in action, a couple of his welding students will be competing in the FFA District 10 Welding contest February 21st.

Here is my new SLCC Welding Class Lafayette Campus for 2019-2020 hoping to keep the same 18 through the summer semester. and might have two more Monday morning which would be great 👍 everyone pray that this will be my first group of students that all make to graduation‼

SLCC WELDING CLASS 2018-2019 just finished today and did a great job cleaning welding shop, now their job is to go to work in the welding industry ‼️

We need to pray for all the people who live in the southern United States- Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas! A storm is coming!
