Current Expedition system isn't what Embark intended. ARC Raiders' design director said: "Because of other things that were actively in development, we didn't have time to shift the system to what we intend to do next. We want to tie more game loops into it, and not just make it about currency value." He added that the current wealth-based reward system was what they could deliver for now.
