@FreddyHomeBoy @duskfallss How is me choosing to follow the new societal norm and not calling people slurs not growing up? I’m starting to think this is upsetting you because you want to be a streamer who can say whatever they want and not suffer any consequences for it. Am I right about that?
English

@ThesBloodflame @duskfallss "People who can and people that cannot", I am not offended by words, I will express myself as I see fit, it appears that with how you view the world you need to grow up, and grow a thicker skin.
English

@FreddyHomeBoy @duskfallss Sure I have heard that word be used by both people who can use it and people that cannot. Just because you do not care for it does not mean that the general society of the internet has not moved on from using words like that. It looks like you also need to grow up some.
English

@ThesBloodflame @duskfallss I don't care for tone policing. Your feelings on the matter don't dictate what people can say. If you became an adult before 2016 you should act like you've seen and heard the word 'nigger' before without having to clutch your pearls and call your therapist.
English

@FreddyHomeBoy @duskfallss Not to mention the fact that both of those women you mentioned both have worked/does work for SE, and they have been very apt to protect their employees after the JP incident
English

@ThesBloodflame @duskfallss calling 2 people specifically retarded bitches when they have reprehensible world views as evidenced by their social media posts isn't misogynistic.
English

@FreddyHomeBoy @duskfallss And if you can’t grasp what is said was more than “mean words” then “your” playerbase doesn’t really want you around either
English

@ThesBloodflame @duskfallss You can't comprehend that they shouldn't be able to monitor your out of game behavior, therefore this is just circular. It isn't their platform, he isn't calling for violence, there are actual hackers, but bald man said mean words and my playerbase can't handle that.
English

@FreddyHomeBoy @duskfallss How is it an overreach to say “be a decent human, don’t say slurs or be a bigot, and if we catch you doing so with our game we’re going to punish you”. Just because you’re allowed to say anything you want doesn’t mean there won’t be consequences when you do
English

@ThesBloodflame @duskfallss I'm not arguing that he doesn't know why, I'm saying their ToS is an absolute over reach and shouldn't be enforceable as written. "anything generally offensive on any public platform, whether reported or not" is effectively how it reads.
English

@FreddyHomeBoy @duskfallss They’re not going to just revoke access for no reason, if they choose to revoke it there is going to be a reason, and if you get banned, chances are you know why. Like in this instance manchild knows why he got banned, but he’s actin like he doesn’t for his fans to get mad
English

@ThesBloodflame @duskfallss It is obviously anti-consumer to 'revoke access at ANY TIME, FOR ANY OR NO REASON, WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE', they're reaching outside of their platform because they're offended.
English

@FreddyHomeBoy @duskfallss How is it anti-consumer to punish people who are actively and constantly being toxic, this kind of act of pruning the bad leaves can do nothing but help make the community nicer, especially when one of those bad leaves who is actively toxic is one of the bigger creators
English

@ThesBloodflame @duskfallss The issue is that it shouldn't be legal to add something that anti-consumer into your ToS, and it isn't just FF, I believe WoW, GW2, and others have in their terms, 'we can revoke access at any time for any reason, with or without notice'
English

@FreddyHomeBoy @duskfallss And this is just my personal opinion, but I feel very confident saying that almost everyone who gets a ban, have it be temporary or permanent, know why they got it. Only reason the manchild is making it a big deal is cause he got caught like a child wetting the bed.
English

@FreddyHomeBoy @duskfallss But it is their authority, because you have them permission to do so by agreeing to their ToS, so realistically if you do not appreciate the probability of you getting banned for calling people slurs, should probably head out now
English

@eldissian @XenosysVex But he didnt break in game ToS dumbfuck
How'd you like it if a group of people mass reported your ff14 acount over this post and you got banned?
English

@lowpolynihilist Do you still think this is a concern despite it being a somewhat well known part of the terms of service for many years now? And are we not taking into account what he recently has recently said and even uploaded to his YouTube channel?
English

People are way too focused on whether they personally like or dislike Xeno instead of looking at the bigger issue here. If someone can receive ingame punishment over comments made on external platforms, without even being told which exact statement, clip, or incident caused the--
Xenosys@XenosysVex
I was banned on FFXIV for Aggressive comments and behavior against others during twitch streams. I was not aware the ToS applied to outside of game as long as ANY FFXIV copyright content was visible. I was not given any details about the ban other than that. More details later.
English

@FreddyHomeBoy @duskfallss The issue is that it was very obvious what he said was offensive towards SE staff (former and current), and other people. It’s their game and if a larger creator is being a cringe edgelord thinking it’s okay to use slurs, they are allowed to ban him
English

@duskfallss The issue is they shouldn't be allowed to police your stream, you aren't a square enix employee, most of the time the people you're talking about have no idea something is being said about them. Their ToS says something as vague as 'generally offensive '
English

@RyuguFinana It’s either these people or people erp-ing in alliance chat in the early hours

English

@kurosumomo @FontJaded @duval_yves15059 @Grummz You know SKG only advocated for new games and not games already active yea?
English

@FontJaded @duval_yves15059 @Grummz This will change real soon when they have to refund people who are denied a service they paid for. And this is moving forward within the EU and Stop Killing games.
English

i swear to god if i get sent this image one more time

Seyren@Seyren
People celebrating Xenosys's ban are cooked, because you clearly do not understand the implications of what it means and the fact that FFXIV can now police your stream for free. This can happen to anyone, even the streamers you like
