Slade's 'Merry Xmas Everybody', but every line is an anagram of "Are you hanging up a stocking on your wall?".

Proud to announce the launch of an exclusive new suite of puzzles @htTweets. A lot of variety with some new types and some familiar kinds. It's online, free to access, and app-friendly. 1/8 hindustantimes.com/games

Is this the cleverest wordplay puzzle of all time? The clues are made from the 100 tiles in a Scrabble set. The answers are too! Background and discussion here: theguardian.com/science/2024/j…

This sonnet, Pharmakon, is composed entirely of titles from Agatha Christie’s novels and short stories, which I am in the process of re-reading in order. The color alternates with each title used. (pharmakon: remedy, poison, scapegoat)

My current favourite two-word anagram phrases: 1. Remote meteor. 2. Supersonic percussion. 3. Persistent prettiness. 4. Aristotelian retaliations. 5. Sectional coastline. Yours?

@somsram Believe it or not, this is actually the real French onomatopeia for pig noises. Think of the 'oi' sound in 'roi' or 'François' to get the idea (this also means their pronunciation of 'oink' can be pretty inappropriate, too).
