@irisroxella To keep herself from drying out, Nerissa carries a floating pouch of enchanted seawater beside her at all times. Her eyes patch covers an "abyssal tide eye" - an ancient koi-spirit trait tied to deep ocean magic.

@irisroxella Unlike other koi spirits, Nerissa became fascinated with the human world above the water. Eventually, curiosity pulled her ashore. But koi spirits aren’t meant to stay on land for long...
