They do not need one because they are not engineered products requiring disclosure. The moment a food needs to tell you how healthy it is on the packaging, that is your first sign to question it. Low fat. High protein. All natural. Heart healthy. These are marketing phrases designed to move product, not nourish bodies. Shop the perimeter of the grocery store where the real food lives. If it has more than five ingredients or contains words you cannot pronounce, put it back. Your great-grandmother did not need a nutrition label to know what to eat. Neither do you.

I go to McDonald’s as I haven’t been there in ages. I thought my cheat meal would be a nice fish sandwich. Not only was the fish not cooked but the tartar sauce was bad. Now in the restroom with whatever we want to call it. Also the fish sandwich looked like a slider or about the size of two half dollars.
