@TimSingletonNew
Head of International News, Sky News

I'm sad to be leaving @SkyNews today. I'm proud of what we achieved and the team we built. Thank you to all my colleagues, in every country and continent. Sky News is changing, as is the whole media industry, but I leave confident that new opportunities will emerge.

Thank you @TimSingSkyNews For your integrity, your leadership, unfailing sound judgment and unswerving commitment above all else to your teams, our safety and the story. It’s been a privilege working with you.

.@TimSingSkyNews is one of those rare editors who genuinely lives and breathes the story. Tough, passionate, endlessly curious — and fiercely protective of the teams he sends into some of the world’s most dangerous places. I’ve seen firsthand how deeply he cares — not just about the journalism, but about the people behind it. He’ll be hugely missed.

.@TimSingSkyNews has been a brilliant leader. Decisive, ambitious, straight talking, kind. He’s run a hugely successful operation and endured decades of having to worry about teams in dangerous places. He cares deeply about the story, but about everyone involved in telling it too

Our colleague Amal Khalil, a brave reporter who has been covering Israeli attacks on Lebanon for the past years was targeted along another colleague Zeinab Faraj while doing their job in south Lebanon. Emergency services succeeded in rescuing Zeinab with injuries along with two casualties. Amal is still under rubble, the Red Cross tried to get closer, yet another Israeli attack pushed them back.
