Err, you’d be mad to buy a property right now. Sellers haven’t adjusted their expectations, so you’re not going to get some great discount. *If* there’s a market adjustment on the way, it’ll take some time to filter through so buyers get better deals.

Ordinary wage earners borrow 105%, mortgage their home to do it.
Rent covers some of the repayment, they pay the rest out of pocket. Runs at a loss loss.
Capital growth is the only way they make money years later.
Hardly privileged.

Increased supply is good!
Market is cooled due to reduced demand, price demands from sellers usually don't shift instantaneously.
At lower prices, clearance rates increase naturally.
Have you also had every broker and REA you encountered hitting you up for a quick, unprompted chat?
