They’re still connected though and they’ve said it’s the backbone of the show, so I don’t think Celeborn showing up will change that

As a fan of Galadriel/Halbrand and Galadriel/Adar (and Sauron/Adar), I enjoy harmless multi shipping in fan spaces outside of canon and enjoy even the evil characters’ dynamics. But if I have to read one more ‘Sauron is better for her than Celeborn’ post I am going to lose it.

@robertjoscribe Galadriel and Nenya are one and the same in a sense. He wants her ring, he wants her, she’s holding the Ring, I don’t think we need to overthink it.

The convo around this is hilarious cause in both cases, I think he would reach for the wrist. Wrenching it from her fingers as she tumbles down would be risky. The point of the shot, I think, is to visualise Sauron "groping" after her, as shadow is always reaching for light.

@fiery_undomiel Not gonna lie, I hope they introduce Celeborn next season so they can use this effect to show Sauron watching her being happy with Celeborn and then cut to him in a fit of rage. A girl can dream!

How are we feeling about the finale? For me it was a mixed bag — so much of the brilliant writing is overshadowed by some of my least favorite dialogue and story choices. Several missed opportunities in my opinion. Visually stunning as always though. #TheRingsOfPower
