This is Wild. Deutsche Bank has developed an index that helps to predict the next TACO by Trump. It has proven effective in previous big Trump pivots. The "Pressure index" combines one-month change in approval ratings, one-year inflation expectations and performance of the S&P 500 & t-bill yields. The higher it goes, the greater the chances of 🌮

SpaceX just pivoted from Mars to the Moon. The reason is math: launch windows to the Moon open every 10 days. To Mars, every 26 months. That's an 80x iteration advantage for anyone building surface systems. But here's what most people missed in the announcement: SpaceX handles launch. They are not building the surface power systems. They are not building the comms relay architecture. They are not running surface logistics. Someone else has to. That's the CLPS pipeline — NASA's Commercial Lunar Payload Services programme. Commercial providers deliver the infrastructure. And the SpaceX-xAI merger adds a second demand driver: lunar factories manufacturing AI satellites for orbital data centers. The market is still pricing lunar infrastructure as flags-and-footprints. $LUNR has already delivered to the surface. IM-2 and IM-3 are on the manifest. $VOYG operates the coordination layer above it. The honest risk take: Musk timelines are optimistic. "Self-growing city in less than 10 years" is a best-case scenario. Artemis III has slipped to 2028. NASA opened the Starship HLS contract to competitors. The dust problem alone doesn't have a long-duration fix. But the structural shift is real. SpaceX — independently of NASA, driven by commercial and AI-infrastructure motivations — has publicly committed to sustained lunar presence. That's a second demand driver that wasn't in the thesis 3 months ago. If SpaceX lands cargo on the Moon in 2027 → the lunar economy re-rates. Everyone positioned at the surface operations chokepoint benefits. If timelines slip → the thesis remains NASA-programme-dependent, with all the risks that carries. The iteration speed argument suggests something more persistent than flags-and-footprints is developing. The market hasn't priced that yet. @tetsuoai To be clear, we are still going to do Mars. I don’t think this change affects the time to a Mars city being self-growing by more than 5 years and it might turn out to accelerate Mars.

@The_RockTrading It’s the entire market under a microcosm. $PLTR seems to have a controversial reputation and almost fanboy or cult status amongst its supporters. I haven’t read Burry’s report but I’m enjoying the debate by both sides.

$PLTR Burry and Bagholders going at it on fintwit this weekend. 9 months from now they’ll still be arguing about $MU when stock declines 38%. Same story. Different stocks. Cycles never fails to repeat. People will always fail to learn. Carry on.

According to @ARKInvest’s research, humanoid robots are 200,000 times more complex than robotaxis to develop. Given Elon’s first principle’s approach and dogged determination, we project that @Tesla’s Optimus will begin to transform factory life, then home life, in 2028/2029.

@Mr_Derivatives Would be great if it could get anywhere near the level of a Bloomberg terminal for the masses.

Correction: X will not allow direct trading of stocks and crypto like a brokerage. Instead it will act more similarly to Stocktwits in terms of real time stock prices and info.l I believe. Still a massive improvement for the X fintwit space.

@elonmusk Not only that, we also need visionaries and bold governance to build the infrastructure needed for space resource gathering and manufacture now if we ever want to become a multi planetary civilisation.

@TheProfInvestor There does seem to be a lot of gloating and frankly it’s uncalled for. There will always be differing perspectives but they should inform our decisions not lead to animosity. For me nothing has changed I’m just steadily accumulating as my timeframe is 20 years out

@PettitFrontier I mean by the point we've reached that level of technical sophistication to have off world industries I imagine autonomy would have largely addressed this issue in most use cases.
