@DonCar177 @WingedWheelPod They don’t have the talent. The GM has to wait for the picks to develop which can take up to 10 years. His trades and FA signings have been awful. His approach is draft and wait, so we as fans have no choice in this process.

@ChrisVannini I don’t think a rebuild in professional sports takes longer than 7 years. Teams that were rebuilding along the same time line have passed the Wings, which is unacceptable for an original 6 franchise.

I am beginning to doubt the Red Wings' Yzerplan. Missing the playoffs again just is not acceptable anymore.

In the time since Detroit last made the playoffs, Montreal has gone from 1st in the Atlantic, to the middle-ish, to the bubble Cup final, to the basement of the Atlantic…and now back in the playoffs again. All since 16-17. What the fuck are we even doing here?
