The media only magnifies the power grab

The divide in this country is exacerbated by the amount of power that the populace has allowed the federal government to take. The constitution allows only the enumerated tasks to the federal government. We are far beyond that now

I think that Americans have been conditioned to accept the power grab of the Federal government. If the constitution was followed none of things we fight would be in question

@wil_da_beast630 I personally don’t think that there is much chance of changing the minds of those who voted for Fetterman. There are a large percentage of people who make their selection on the color of skin, clothing they wear, The schools attended and political party affiliations.

One reason for GOP losses in the Fetterman race and at least 3-4 others is low-key but obvious: people have been able to vote for a month plus (?), while the debates, final big newspaper profiles, etc still take place a week or two before *Har har* "Election Day."

@michaelgwaltz The people who run for public office continue to make promises they know will not be fulfilled. A constitutional convention is the real answer limiting congressional session similar to the Texas model.

@michaelgwaltz @HeatherChilders As long as power hungry individuals continue to populate the seats in congress nothing will change To expect those who strive to attain the benefits they vote themselves, they certainly will not vote for term limits.

Seem a little close together

The amount of hyperbole currently is amazing. The point that no one is putting out is no mater how many police or border officers there are , if they are not allowed to enforce the current laws or the is no penalty for violating, what is the point!

QUESTION: When the governments (State/Federal) no longer have their huge cut of money coming from every gallon of gas we buy, where are they going to get the money to “pay for our roads?” Because that’s what the gas tax was originally supposed to be used for. Thoughts?

I’ve a few real questions concerning the continuing Beau Biden controversy. Was he stationed at a burn pit? Did he work at a burn pit? He was a JAG and a Major who typically don’t approach anything like a burn pit.
