Most people don't realize that "the internet" at its core is a bunch of cables laid under the sea and across the world that transport data as light. There are 500-600 nondescript buildings which are airports for light (IXPs) and 13 DNS root servers that are air traffic control.

@ToonSpin @blackroomsec It's not really wasting time if you're aware of this being a thing! Candidates usually stand out if they're not really interested or are prodding for the compensation. Similarly I've always encouraged people to talk to other companies if they're already at max compensation.
