The complete disbelief that so many of us have with the media coddling of Thomas Frank is largely down to the fact that his predecessor was mocked and laughed at only a year ago for being in a similar position - even though he had trophies and a 5th placed finish behind him. There is no explanation for the insane amount of grace he’s being given for seemingly no reason at all.

Pointless thought exercise but I wonder how the media would talk about Frank if he wasn’t European. It pays to be seen as rational even when you’re failing.

Hilarious that we were never within 10 points of relegation last season, but the media was baying for blood. Now that there is a genuine and real chance of relegation, the media is ice cold and calm. What was it about Ange that made them desperate for blood?

How vindicated must Ange feel? Its looking more and more everyday that HE was the solitary good decision in a sea of bad decisions the club has made for nearly a decade and he (like many others) somehow took the fall and blame for it.
