@SebMadeInChina @ChrisPacia Those polls are usually pretty close, every poll I’ve seen blue wins by a margin of 10-15%. If you don’t think that in a real scenario where lives are genuinely at risk a massive amount of blue voters would actually vote red you are kidding yourself.

I promise this is the last one. Most of the blue button pushers are conceding that the red should be the correct button to push. But they're saying some percentage of the population are going to irrationally push the blue button. So we have to all push the blue button to save those irrational people. Ok. But what percentage is that? 2%, 5%. 10% ? Whatever it is, it's surely easier to convince the 5% of irrational people who are leaning blue to flip their vote to red, then it is to convince 50% of people to vote against their own interests and risk their lives. And a campaign to get those small number of irrational people to vote red, doesn't run any risk of a catastrophic failure that is possible if the blue campaign fails at 49%.
