The Lime Street underpass - For those too young to remember it. It was a a dark and damp subway that stunk off piss. It started outside Lime Street station and connected to a set of escalators that took you up into St John’s Precinct before the days of Liverpool One. If I was ever going to mug someone this is where I would have done it. If you was lucky sometimes there would be a fella playing a guitar to brighten up your experience.
