I don’t think a left-wing signing is a major importance.
Florian Wirtz will likely be the name there, Rio Ngumoha the rotation.
Two different players, two different styles.
Yan Diomande comes in and can play both wings, similarly to the way I think Rio Ngumoha will get exposed to both sides.
Wirtz rotates with Szobsozlai, Szoboszlai rotates the 8/10 roles. Whoever the 8 will be.

@thatrexguy Funny thing is that Slot ideas arent that bad in terms of tactics. It's man management and quotes in press conference that broke him neck with fans and players.
Maybe Iraola even when he is on similar level tactical, his man management looks far better.

A big part of me wonders whether we will play an asymmetric system next season with either Kerkez or Frimpong high and wide, two midfielders, Szoboszlai playing as a wide playmaker, Wirtz in the middle and an elite one on one winger on the opposite side to the wing back…

@Tyrinko Similar yes. Although this will be a striker focal point. This keeps Szoboszlai in central areas to create a box midfield and overload central areas, give space for wingers and wingbacks to take their men on and focus on feeding the elite finishers we spent so much money on!

Risk with this is theres so many examples of managers doing well with the mid table teams getting a big move then fumbling. The demands are completely different at Liverpool. If we make a change it should be somebody already tested and gone far in CL and won a big League.
