It's crazy how much growth can happen in such a short amount of time because looking back at my first videos is honestly a little painful 😭 The lighting was off, the editing was cringe, and I sounded like I was asking permission to take up space. But I also see someone trying anyway before she felt fully ready. That matters more to me now than making everything look polished. I posted knowing there would be so much room for improvement, and somewhere along the way, all the repetition helped me become more confident. #ugc #ugccreator #ugccommunity

One thing I am really proud of lately is the standard I’ve been holding myself to with my content, even in the middle of complete chaos at home. Sick kids, solo parenting while my partner’s been gone for work, recovering from getting a tooth pulled… meanwhile I’m still trying to create work I genuinely feel good about. Not just “good enough to post” content either. I’ve been pushing myself to be more intentional with concepts, scripting, and the overall quality of what I put out, even with little voices and interruptions happening in the background all day. 😂 That balance has not been easy, but it is reminding me that discipline is not about having perfect conditions. It is about deciding your standards still matter, even when life gets loud. #ugc #ugccreator #ugccommunity

Happy Saturday! Two days post op from a tooth extraction and it’s hurting a bit 😮‍💨 But we’re resting, watching Fixer Upper and planning content for the week ahead. I’m realizing burnout happens for me when I don’t pre-plan my week ahead and then try and do everything on the fly. It’s a work in progress, but I’m getting better at it. Cheers to building the business even when it’s messy

Learning the AIDA framework these last 2 weeks in AHA has been making me look at my old UGC scripts completely differently. I realized almost every concept I created followed the exact same problem → solution flow, which explains why some of my content started feeling repetitive and kind of boring after a while. I definitely do not have AIDA mastered yet, but even learning the basics is already pushing me to think more intentionally about attention, emotion, and storytelling before I ever get to the product. That alone is making the creative process feel exciting again. The goal is not just making more content. It is making content that actually feels different from one concept to the next. #ugc #ugccreator #ugccommunity

Today is my LAST full day at home alone before all 4 of my kids are home FT for the summer 😅🥵 (They have a half day tmrw but I’m also going to their schools for their celebrations since 3 of them are graduating to new schools…. 4 kids in 4 different schools next year YAY 😮‍💨😭). Don’t get me wrong… I LOVE my kids. I adore them & would do anything (including NOT doing everything for them so they can learn independence & responsibility 😆). BUT… 3 of them (so far) have ADHD along with myself. So every day that they’re home is a hodgepodge of loud stimming, music blasting, fidgets clicking, items being thrown about, laundry piles the size of Mount Everest, screaming at each other to decide what show to watch next, 1.2 millions questions being asked of me, 7568 snacks being eaten all while my MIA teen locks herself in her room for hours & my son beats more holes in the basement wall while practicing baseball & hockey. 🤦‍♀️ This is NOT an exaggeration. 🤣 I’m always nervous as to how summer will go with them home and unstructured, especially when I work from home but this year I’m determined to find something that works to keep their dopamine boosted & their screen time low. And declutters our house.🤞 If you haven’t already noticed, I’m an oversharer and transparent as hell & have always believed pretending to be perfect is boring and isolating. It’s important for me to connect with my people who get it so you’ll always get the REAL deal with me. I’m not sure how this will go but I’ll document it all & hope for the best. Gifted collabs turning into paid work will always mean more to me than vanity metrics. It tells me the content actually did what it was supposed to do, they enjoyed working together, and that the brand saw enough value to come back for more. A brand I previously worked with on a gifted collab reached back out this week wanting to move into paid work together. Moments like that remind me that showing up consistently and focusing on strong deliverables behind the scenes, and being easy to work with, is never wasted effort. 👊🏼 #ugc #ugccreator #ugccommunity

I used to think successful creators were just naturally disciplined. Now I think a lot of them simply built systems that support their creativity instead of fighting against it. 👀 When my space is messy, my schedule is all over the place, and I’m constantly overstimulated, creating starts feeling way harder than it needs to. But when I slow down enough to prep meals, plan my week, clean my workspace, and build structure into my days, everything flows better creatively too. Pre-kid me really thought I had parenting figured out 😅 I was never going to rely on screens, I was going to cook balanced meals every night, and I was definitely going to stay patient through every meltdown.
