Despite global headwinds, India continues to advance on the path of progress, anchored in resilience & stability, under the decisive leadership of PM @NarendraModi ji. The Economic Survey 2025-26, presented by FM @NSitharaman ji today in Parliament, reflects Bharat’s strong macroeconomic fundamentals, supported by robust policy interventions of the Modi Government. Some of the key aspects are: 1️⃣ The Indian economy has sustained strong momentum, with the First Advance Estimates projecting real GDP growth at 7.4% for FY 2025-26. This underscores India’s position as the fastest-growing major economy for the 4th consecutive year. 2️⃣ India recorded an inflation rate of 1.7% during Apr-Dec 2025, driven by a contraction in food prices of major commodities such as vegetables & pulses, highlighting the Government’s effective management of inflation. 3️⃣ The progression from ‘Swadeshi’ to ‘Strategic Resilience’ and then to ‘Strategic Indispensability’ is aimed at shifting the global approach from merely 'thinking about buying Indian' to confidently 'buying Indian without thinking'. The Government remains focused on strengthening the manufacturing sector through initiatives such as Make in India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Also, the industrial sector continues to advance, enhancing its high-tech capabilities, resilience, and integration with global markets. 4️⃣ Initiatives such as the National Logistics Policy and the Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP) are improving logistics efficiency and reducing transaction costs, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the manufacturing sector. 5️⃣ Manufacturing activity has shown a strong revival, with growth of 7.72% in Q1 and 9.13% in Q2 of FY 2025-26, driven by reforms and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes. As of September 2025, the PLI schemes have realised actual investments of over ₹2 lakh crore, resulting in incremental production exceeding ₹18.70 lakh crore and generating employment for over 12.60 lakh people. 6️⃣ Aligned with PM Modi ji’s clarion call of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayaas’, state-level deregulation drive is gaining momentum, in the spirit of cooperative & competitive federalism, boosting ease of doing business. These developments reflect the Modi Government’s focus on strengthening ease of living alongside consistent economic growth, supporting the nation’s journey to become the third-largest global economy, in alignment with the Viksit Bharat by 2047 vision.
