@UatecUK We should really have a conversation about my employer one day. I think you could simplify a lot of what you’ve written there (no need to handle all this for example: github.com/uatec/teleform…)

If debugging remotely in an AWS serverless environment using Terraform feels slow, you might find github.com/uatec/teleform helpful. I built it to tackle this problem and would love to hear your feedback!

@pierskarsenbarg One key requirement to be able to retrofit this in to an existing terraform project. That said, you've got me thinking about what this would look like for a Pulumi project.

@davidfowl @adymitruk Microsoft is a many headed beast. Dotnet and vscode are worlds away from the strictures of Teams and Sharepoint.

@adymitruk I just think that sometimes, people are inconsistent, and I want to understand more. Is it about OSS or is it Microsoft? Is it both? If you use one product but not the other, what is it exactly?

The hubris of monopolistic company mobs is a sad reflection on society.

@adymitruk You’re not using any of our stuff? As long as you are consistent, I’m good. No vscode, no typescript, no office 👀

@pierskarsenbarg ABRP, the rest are for paying. This excludes the Tesla app (the only app I ACTUALY use for paying).

Writing your CV involves more than just listing jobs. 📄 Focus on your goal: 1⃣ Understand your target role's key qualities. 2⃣ Convert job specifics into 3-4 points of evidence. 3⃣ Finally rewrite those points into compelling prose.

@davidfowl I significantly reduced my usage by a combinations of notification summaries and @one_sec_app . Highly recommended.

@yongfook @aghlara Do you record and expose their http responses to the webhook? Evidence of a 200 from them would be undeniable would have thought.

@aghlara We do this, but this particular ticket was about webhook deliverability. On our side we can see it was delivered, but on their side they are convinced it wasn't. Very difficult to debug, since we don't know how their server / handler is set up.

@aakashgupta My wife always gets spam calendar invites which appear on her phone as reminders/notifications. This feature is greatly appreciated. Just because Calendly is affected does not make this an attack.

Is this Google's most genius strategy yet? Big Tech 101 has always been to steal the best product ideas built atop your platforms. But kneecapping Calendly under the guise of security takes it to a whole new level 🧵 👇

@MattJamesBoyle So Direct sales follow an expect tail. Amazon is interesting… do you know what caused the spike in Other?

@UatecUK It’s been fairly steady actually (Aprils numbers don’t show up here yet though, but are similar). I have been trying quite hard to do something each month to keep sales coming in though and Packt have been doing some marketing support too, that ended this month though.

Current state of play for my book Domain-Driven Design with Golang (available here: amzn.eu/d/2k0nPJR) Revenue: £10.2K Average Amazon review: 4.1 stars I get ~16% of each sale so currently my “profit” is around £1600. I haven’t earnt enough to cover my advance yet though

@david_whitney What have they changed? On my Surface Pro 5, touch is mostly there to make up for the scroll behaviour limited by the poor touch pad.

The new touch optimisations on my Surface Pro 8 are really lovely, makes it actually a credible keyboardless device. I've loved these computers since the very first one, but touch has always been a compromise - this actually feels *good*.

Started building a Voron Tridex, for dual material parts without purge towers. Going to try printing some carbon fibre / TPU based surf fins once it’s done 🤓
