This is probably gonna sound weird but I'm obsessed with the video we recorded where I'm being punched over and over in the same spot as a huge bruise forms throughout the length of the clip, I hadn't ever really experienced pain so severe that screams are forced out until now, it's actually so cool to finally hear how it sounds, I feel like you can pretty easily alter your voice with effort but I dunno if you can change how your screaming sounds so I was always kinda nervous I screamed like a boy, but idk I think my screams kinda pass? I was accosted by a guy who was clearly high the other day when I was out with my sister, she was using the toilet while I waited outside the store and a guy with a bloodied face came up to me and started asking me to drive him somewhere, this kind of situation has happened once in the past, last year before I got on antipsychotics and was a lot more meek, I ended up driving him because I was so afraid of him becoming violent, after I dropped him off he started asking for money, when I tried to explain i don't carry cash he then asked me to drive him to a cash point and withdraw money for him, obviously I didn't and he visibly changed, I could see the anger on his face, he got out of my car and stood rather confrontationally in front of it, making it difficult to drive away. This time I sort of managed to stand up for myself a bit more, despite this guy clearly having just been in a fight on account of the blood all over him, when he could see I wasn't going to help him he got right up into my face, not directly aggressive but asserting himself over me, he was literally about two or three inches from me and I genuinely feared he was gonna just randomly headbutt me if he didn't get what he wanted, I tried to explain that my car only had two seats and my sister was with me, he kept asking until another lady who was sorta nearby called out for him to leave me alone, I immediately got into my car and could see him pacing around through the rear mirrors, I texted my sister asking her to hurry up and my hands were trembling afterwards. I read somewhere that men are more likely to target women who come off as quiet and low in confidence, I hate that I so obviously project that sort of image, it makes the world feel even scarier knowing people see it :(
