The family members of deceased Tweesha Sharma met CM Dr Mohan Yadav at the state secretariat today. During the meeting, CM assured the family that the Madhya Pradesh government would provide full support in the matter. He also stated that a letter would be sent seeking a CBI investigation into the case. Regarding the demand for a second postmortem, the Chief Minister said the decision would be taken by the court. However, if the family wishes, the state government will arrange transportation facilities to shift the mortal remains to All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi.
