They do because they want the international interest in the race. The fact they paid for the blogger to go out there tells you that. If no European trained horses run in the race there is a lot less interest in it over here. Also coolmore are huge in Australia as well so they wouldn’t want to piss them off for no reason

Fully getting carried away here BUT if he goes on to win a group race on the flat, does that make him in the greatest dual-purpose horse of all time?

@TheRacingVet_ I would say his current ability does take away if you are using the words “great” a great doesn’t stop being able to jump at 9 causing him to run in a AW novice race

@UpNorthRacing His current ability over jumps doesn’t take away from previous accomplishments though. He’d be the most decorated in both disciplines if he goes onto more on the flat but suppose it does question if a true dual-purpose horse can do them simultaneously?
