We are still early in the pendulum swinging hard back the other way when it comes to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), reconciliation with First Nations, and Climate policies. Those who grifted from it, are about to find out

To believe that these two just get to walk off into the sunset without ever answering for what they did to our Country is beyond infuriating to think about. And both of them are complicit in helping to install our current Government which only continues our slow march towards complete destruction of the Canada we once knew.

Concern has been raised over the locations of two new data centres in Vancouver. Sitka Media’s @JarrydJaeger asked AI Minister Solomon what he thinks about digital infrastructure taking up prime real estate downtown and in the Mt. Pleasant neighbourhood. Here’s his response 👇

AI Minister Evan Solomon said he wants new data centres to benefit local entrepreneurs — not billionaires. BC Greens Leader Emily Lowan says she’s skeptical: “At the end of the day, I do believe that it is the CEO of Telus and their shareholders that will be benefiting most.”

"Measuring the supply of corruption is not rocket science. What is ‘measured’ is the corruption that rises to the surface; the corruption that remains undiscovered obviously cannot be measured. Corruption is discovered when money becomes tight and credit is less readily." Mania panics and crashes. Chapter seven..is worthy read if your a student of financial history.

Absolute bombshell. Prominent economist Richard Werner confirms the 1997 Asian financial crisis was completely engineered. He reveals the IMF deliberately bankrupted Thailand to force them into selling off their national industries to foreign elites for pennies!

🚨 You can’t make this up. I caught a hotel worker at the Super 8 / Easters Inn in Prince George allegedly pouring yellow paint into BC sewer drains. Management denied it. The owner admitted it was wrong after seeing my camera… then allegedly tried offering me free hotel stays to keep quiet. This is EXACTLY why independent journalists matter. drewcouver.com

China cannot be trusted. On anything. In 2015, Xi stood in the Rose Garden and promised China would not militarize Spratlys Today those same islands are covered with runways, missiles, radars and military bases used to intimidate neighboring countries across South China Sea

Ken Cao-The China Crash Chronicle
If Trump actually speaks directly with Taiwan President Lai Ching-te, it would be one of the biggest diplomatic earthquakes since 1979. People still don’t fully understand how explosive this would be for Beijing. For decades, the CCP’s entire “One China” framework has depended on one unwritten global rule: No world leader, especially a sitting U.S. president, publicly communicates with Taiwan’s president. That taboo is the foundation of Beijing’s diplomatic pressure campaign against Taiwan. And Trump may be preparing to blow it up completely. If the President of the United States can openly talk to Taiwan’s leader, then why can’t Japan? Why can’t Britain, Australia, Canada, France, or Germany? The moment the U.S. breaks the psychological barrier, the entire diplomatic landscape around Taiwan changes forever. This is why Beijing is terrified. The CCP has spent decades trying to isolate Taiwan internationally through the UN, WHO, ICAO, and global diplomatic pressure. But one direct Trump-Lai call could instantly elevate Taiwan’s international legitimacy and visibility overnight. Ironically, Xi Jinping may have helped create this situation himself. During Trump’s Beijing visit, Xi reportedly discussed Taiwan extensively with Trump. But the second you discuss Taiwan with a foreign leader, you are already admitting Taiwan is not merely a “domestic issue.” Domestic affairs are not negotiated with foreign powers. That contradiction exposes the core weakness of Beijing’s narrative. If this call happens, it won’t just be symbolic. It could mark the beginning of the slow collapse of the CCP’s diplomatic isolation strategy against Taiwan, and a major geopolitical realignment across the Indo-Pacific.

China opposes any direct contact between Washington and Taipei after Donald Trump said he could speak to Taiwan’s President William Lai about a possible arms deal. Something no US president has done directly since 1979. Al Jazeera’s @Katmyu reports.

Exactly. And it was the first example of the wolf warrior behaviour that was to come. It happened in June 1/16, and later in June I spoke at the Human Rights Watch Summit in Berlin with @SophieDRich about this new aggressive China we were starting to see. Xi standing up.

China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi is visiting Ottawa. It is worth remembering the moment 10 years ago when he publicly scolded a Canadian journalist for asking about human rights in China. The arbitrary detention of Canadians reinforced the question was legitimate and necessary.

@KenSimCity The Vancouver Park Board should be eliminated. They have inefficient management of Kits Pool and also responsible to charging more for people to park at the beaches, parks and community centers. Creating more difficulty to afford nature & activities! Shame!

Vancouverites shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to enjoy one of our city’s most iconic public spaces. Kits Pool belongs to the community and families deserve simple, reliable access to it this summer.

Message to American college students interested in these tech jobs: Don’t bother.
USCIS@USCIS

This year’s H-1B season is wrapping up, and we’re seeing great results from @POTUS’ new policies that prioritize America First! Stay tuned for more updates, but here’s what we’re seeing so far: ✅More top talent: We’re approving more applicants with advanced degrees and higher salaries—especially those who studied at U.S. universities. An overwhelming 71.5% of selected aliens hold a U.S. master’s degree or higher, compared to 57% last year. ✅Stronger workforce: These skilled workers are making a real impact on our economy and we’re closing the door on the low-wage and low-skilled foreign labor pipeline approved under Biden administration policies. This year, only 17.7% of all selected registrations were in the lowest wage category. ✅Restoring integrity: The number of properly submitted registrations plummeted by 38.5%, from 343,981 in fiscal year 2026 to just 211,600 in fiscal year 2027. This data is a clear sign that the days of abusing the program with mass, low-wage registrations are over, and that the program is better serving its intended purpose of attracting highly skilled foreign workers and protecting the wages, working conditions, and job opportunities of American workers. More details coming soon!
