Anthropic is doubling down on Europe and opening an office in Milan. Europe is Anthropic's fastest growing region with revenue up 9x YoY, while Milan is the centre of Italian tech. Anthropic now has hubs in London, Dublin, Zurich, Paris, Munich and Milan. It's pushing more and more into Europe as its relationship with the US continues to sour. Great stuff for Italy!

Chief Architect & VP Engineering Niklas Gustavsson na scenie Anthropic w Londynie opowiadał, jak jego zespół robi 4500 deploymentów dziennie. Mówi wprost: „Ponad 99% naszych inżynierów co tydzień używa narzędzi AI. Adopcja eksplodowała dopiero po Opus 4.5.” I pokazuje dokładnie JAK to zrobili: •Zbudowali własnego agenta Honk na Claude Agent SDK – działa w tle, ma dostęp do repo, CI, lintów, testów. •Inżynier może z telefonu na Slacku rzucić zadanie, a agent sam robi PR-a, refaktoring, migrację zależności czy całą zmianę w tysiącach komponentów. •Dzięki temu większość mergowanych PR-ów to już w dużej mierze praca AI, a ludzie skupiają się na tym, co naprawdę ma znaczenie. 
To jest pełny agentic workflow na skalę 3000+ inżynierów, 40 milionów linii kodu i monorepo, o którym inni tylko czytają w artykułach. 27 minut czystej, praktycznej wiedzy z pierwszej ręki za darmo, tu nie ma teorii. Jest działająca maszyna, która już teraz zmienia największą muzyczną apkę świata.

CD Projekt Red says they “learned their lesson” from Cyberpunk 2077’s launch disaster. The Witcher 4 and Cyberpunk 2 reportedly now have: • mandatory milestone documentation • shared dev knowledge across teams • stricter project management • better coordination with outsourcing studios

@karpathy curious, did you have to go through multiple rounds of interviews? or did you just say "hi i want to join" then have one interview with the team and they let you in? (because that's what I imagine. you clearly have all of the expertise necessary)

Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.

Me mudé a Varsovia hace 3 años 🇵🇱 Puntos positivos: > es seguro > es limpio > todavía mantiene su cultura e identidad > gran comunidad de nómadas digitales > enorme variedad de cafés y restaurantes > muchos centros comerciales y marcas mundiales > ubicación central en Europa > mejor calidad - beneficios que otros países sobrevalorados con mayor marketing Contras: > cada vez se están viendo más africanos > se está haciendo cada vez más popular y eso va a atraer más inmigrantes de 5to mundo Acabo de pasar unos meses en mi país (Argentina 🇦🇷) antes de volver a Varsovia. Extrañaba mucho el estar acá. No digo que Polonia sea para todos. Es muy subjetivo. Lo que sí les recomiendo, es que vivan en un lugar que los eleve en todo sentido. Que se sientan contentos con solo caminar por sus calles…

@Piechocinski Co dokładnie znaczy bycie rozczarowanym AI? Jej wykorzystaniem w praktyce? Mało kto w korpo implementuje wraz z właściwą edukacją jak z niej korzystać, a od zawsze wiadomo że marketing ma sprzedawać (między innymi budując wysokie oczekiwania)

Połowa polskich firm jest rozczarowana sztuczną inteligencją – wynika z badania przeprowadzonego przez firmę EY. Z kolei 17 proc. badanych oceniło wyniki implementacji tak nisko, że gdyby mieli wiedzę o efektach, nie zdecydowaliby się ponownie na wdrożenie AI.

Niesamowity jest ten hype na AI w korporacjach. Rozmawiałem z kilkoma znajomymi i każdy mówi to samo. Nikt teraz nie wykonuje zadań do których zostali zatrudnieni tylko każdy buduje agentów i automatyzuje taski. Czy u Was też tak jest?

@UnpluggImage Ciekawa reakcja. Grupka po lewej - przegrywy, uciekają z miejsca. Chłop w brązowym, beta - zaszokowany, patrzy i czeka na reakcje innych. Chłop w czarnym z założonymi rękami - socjopata. Chłop w szarej koszulce po prawej - empata, przeżywa wypadek kolegi. Czerwone pięści - lider.

Karma wraca. Poza tym ktoś nie chodził na WF w szkole.
