Nice day spent driving up and down the M5 though, exactly what I like to do with a tank of petrol.

So today Haven Holidays have taken away the last thing I was looking forward to and it’s hard to keep positive when life is so shite. At least I have till Tuesday to practice my ‘had a lovely week, thanks’ face. Don’t book anything with Haven, you might not get what you booked.

New carpets fitted upstairs no big deal, except I'm bloody knackered. Had to empty all the rooms & the study, box and carry everything downstairs, then move the shelves & desk into one room, then empty bedroom into study and then repeat 😭🙄

My mum died yesterday. We were fortunate to be with her in her final hours. Mum managed to keep going until her birthday & we ensured it was a great day. My mum was the best mum in the world, ever. I will miss her terribly. Mum and dad are back together again. Keep safe.

Woke up at 5am with severe right sided pain and it got worse & worse. After the morning spent in hospital & lots of pain medication, turns out I've got a kidney infection on top of everything else. Antibiotics & strong pain meds for the foreseeable. One day I'll catch a break...
