For those who don't know, Gadaffi's Great Man Made River Project was in the process of re-greening the entire Libyan Sahara and part of the Sahel using vast underground fossil water reserves. So when the White People Coalition Army arrived in 2011, they bombed the project sites and even its pipe factory so that the Sahara and North Sahel would remain poor, underpopulated, and eternally dependent on food imports. Little history lesson.
The Spearhead@Spearhead_Af

Why Did The West Destroy Libya’s Water Supply In 2011? Did you know that the West destroyed one of the largest water infrastructure projects ever attempted in human history, just to punish the sovereign African country that created this project? In this report for the Spearhead, @okorieuche_ sheds light on Libya’s fabled and tragically ill-fated Great Man-made River Project (GMRP), a project that could have sustained Libya’s water supply into the distant future, and transformed the wider Saharan and Sahelian regions of Africa, geologically and economically, for the better, had NATO not carried out its illegal invasion of Libya in 2011 and murdered its popular, revolutionary leader Muammar Gaddafi.

Mahdi Shehu on Alleged 1995 U.S.-Backed Plot Against Abacha Mahdi Shehu’s account of the 1995 Durbar Hotel bombing speaks to foreign interference, regime change politics, and the hidden hands that have shaped Nigeria’s political history. According to Shehu, a U.S. Embassy political officer approached him in Kaduna, offered him money, and asked him to drop a parcel at the Durbar Hotel as part of what he described as a campaign against the Abacha government. Shehu says he refused, only for the hotel to be bombed shortly after, with journalist Bagauda Kaltho later linked to the incident. This story forces a larger question: how many times has Nigeria’s instability been engineered, sponsored, or encouraged by foreign powers, only to be later presented to us as our own failure? This is why Africans must pay closer attention to the history we are told, the history that is hidden, and the people who benefit from our chaos.

There's a reason you're a failed musician you can't even distinguish the Army from the Air Force. The personnel you're crying about at Lagos airport are not soldiers. They are Nigerian Air Force personnel. Before you open your mouth to insult the uniform, learn the difference. And here's the news: security operatives at airports anywhere in the world stop and search vehicles. It is called force protection. Not bullying. Not harassment. If you are not breaking any law, you have nothing to fear. But your entitlement is showing you think being young or driving a luxury car exempts you from security checks. That's not how it works. The Nigerian military has not lost its honour. You lost your career because you have no talent. Don't project your bitterness on men and women who actually serve this nation. Stay in your lane. @HQNigerianAirForce, please educate this civilian on airport security protocols. He clearly needs it.
SKALES@youngskales

@HQNigerianArmy just to let you know the soldiers that you put at the lagos international airport have become nuisance… all they do now is stop luxurious cars & bully the drivers and passengers-just because they are young then ask for Martel money… the Nigerian army use to have honor but it’s filled with jokers now … hopefully you do something about this

1. Goodluck Jonathan is more competent than Peter Obi. 2. Goodluck Jonathan enjoys global recognition and respect. 3. Goodluck Jonathan is also a Southerner. 4. Goodluck Jonathan is also a Christian. 5. Peter Obi should step aside to support Goodluck Jonathan. 6. No rational person would choose Peter Obi over Goodluck Jonathan. 7. Atiku will still emerge victorious in 2027.

Out of the five million registered ADC members, Kwankwaso and Peter Obi did not register even 300,000 people. Yet, you continue to spread lies that the coalition is dead without them, while still claiming to be part of it. You might as well join the APC and work for Tinubu. As far as the ADC is concerned, Bola Tinubu will be defeated in 2027 because Nigerians are fully behind the coalition.

The same reason the North will never vote for Peter Obi is the same reason the South will never vote for Kwankwaso. There is no way a ticket featuring both Kwankwaso and Peter Obi can win a presidential election in Nigeria: - On a Kwankwaso/Obi ticket, the South will not vote for Kwankwaso. - On an Obi/Kwankwaso ticket, the North will not vote for Peter Obi.

Their fear is, if Obi is given ADC platform and he wins, he won’t allow them free access to loot public funds… that’s why they’d rather stick with their guy who sold federal govt assets to himself and cronies in the name of privatization when he was VP 🏃 🏃‍♂️
