@roroism Hey Roro! Your My Passport shouldn't automatically wipe itself when plugging into Mac from PC. However, if you're looking to buy a second drive. we have the My Passport For Mac, which comes pre-formatted for Macs and you can keep the two separate. @WD_UK I’ve got a WD Passport which historically has only been used on Windows. If I plug this into my Mac will it format and wipe it clean? Also I’m looking to buy a second one, what do I need to do to ensure this doesn’t happen cross both Mac/ laptop?

Contacted @westerndigital/@wd_uk 5 days ago and now they have REFUSED to replace my faulty hard drive even though it's ***VIRTUALLY BRAND NEW***. A #crap company producing crap products and providing crap #CustomerService. Can't fault them for their consistency, I guess.

@westerndigital @wd_uk I recently purchased a WD AV-25 500GB HDD. Ran tests on it and PC-3000 shows serious performance issues reading (not writing) after ~400GB. Crystal Disk Info showed drive had only been powered on for 5 hours when I started testing. This is VERY poor.

So today was going good and then our @WD_UK 1Tb Blue (10 year warranty) hard drive decided to give up the ghost and no longer function and this isn't the first WD drive to go in such a short space of time. So @WD_UK, who do we complain to as that is now 2 Blue and 1 Green DEAD!
