@ProductFont I’m feeling rant-y about project and internal knowledge graph processes. Also feeling rant-y about ML and product. I’d be happy to join!

@hingeloss Oh interesting! Yes, clearly it’s both poorly advertised and there’s no way anywhere in the system to build some collaborative filtering with my friends, family, and fellow anti spam detection colleagues.

@ryanjgallag Fellow Carolina alum here. Come join us @skillshare. We’re looking for a data scientist and a director of ML to help us take our class recommendations and personalized experiences to the next level! Plenty of ML, NLP, and algorithm work on the horizon. Send me a dm

@ForwardCarolina Is there another incentive structure? Genuinely would love to know.
English

@ForwardCarolina A homeowner wants their home value to go up. Artificially constricting supply is an easy way to force prices to go up. So there are no individual incentives for either liberal or conservative homeowners to alter their framework.

New cold recruiter outreach tactic:
Recruiter: Thanks for your interest in {{Company}}! We'd love to have you speak with our head of product. Here's a calendly link to ....
Me: There must be some mistake. I'm happy at @skillshare and I never indicated that I wanted to chat.

@imshaughnessyok This perfectly describes my love for working @skillshare! Come join our team. Here's one of our product manager positions.

@WFHorn User = a Designer
Pain point = glaring negative whitespace
😂
English

@gabrielvaldivia The cynic in me wants to say it was less a user pain point solution and more a way to avoid a glaring negative whitespace at the profile’s header on a desktop.
English

Sounds like you’re conflating “defining” with “dictating.”
Giff Constable@giffco
I admit I find it offensive when people say PMs job is to define the product. No. That's a collaborative process. Designers and engineers are not order takers.

@robleathern @shreyas “Tantalizing” is exactly the right word for that segment of my list.

@paul_farber @CorcoranGW This looks like a transformative course! Get ready students for a mental model shift.
