I wrote this thread, last year - as a subject authority. This year, the Nigerian ginger sector has crashed. The news I'm reading is that - ginger farmers were given GMO seeds which caused fungal blight and wiped out our entire export base. I warned you.

On GMOs. Firstly, permit me to throw data to the wind. Only time. 90% of people arguing about GMOs, reading this thread - have never handled genetic materials, edited genes. Probably never will. I eat CRISPR-CAS9 for lunch. I write this thread, as a subject authority.

Kayode Fayemi started with President Tinubu during the NADECO days. Tinubu brought him into Ekiti State politics from the UK and supported his elections heavily, with Lagos State resources. After Fayemi initially lost, Tinubu meet with Justice Ayo Salami where something were exchanged in between hands so the judgment could favour Fayemi. The ruling was later delivered at the Court of Appeal, Ilorin where Fayemi was declared the winner of Ekiti State 2007 Governorship elections. Fayemi remains one of Tinubu’s most loyal allies to the core and should never be giving a chance, even to meet with leader of NDC.

Nigeria: a country where everybody wants to be rich while wishing that everyone else remains poor, just so they can feel special while carrying themselves with a delusional sense of importance. Foolish people.

The violence in Nigeria is the result of a 1400-year-old prophesy. The Sokoto Caliphate, which controls the government there, was built specifically to be the launchpad for the prophesied Mahdi - a mystical jihad leader who they believe will conquer the world for Islam. A blood descendent of Mohammed sits on the throne today. It is the only caliphate on earth that meets the Sunni criteria. Terrorists have been streaming in from around the world. Other Islamic nations are supporting the current jihad. All the slaughter, rape, destruction and displacement are to prepare for the coming of the Mahdi. Since the caliphate's founding in 1804, they have massacred as many as 6 MILLION Nigerians -- one unbroken campaign: same throne, same bloodline, same mission, same tactics. It's the largest and longest running genocide on earth today. This is the Epicenter. Sanctions will not stop this. If we don't fight it there NOW, we will fight it here in our own backyards tomorrow. Would love a word to go over the level of fraud my community commits to get a green card. Plus we don't want hamas supporting folks like Mamdani's best buddy to be here. If he was forced to go to Palestine to get a GC, I bet he never gets here. The problem is GC takes forever, so the H1b queue stays forever. Either eliminate H1B and give citizenship for researchers and scientists, but the level of h1b fraud in VA specifically is insane. Sometimes try to go to Herndon, VA where they used to ship QA testers by the dozen who had ZERO background on IT. How does it make sense when my computer science kid can't find a job in the same discipline? This isn't about specific community, more for dangerous jihadists getting GC in the US. My community in VA is completely overtaken by third world muslims roaming around in hijabs.

State governors bribe principal INEC staff, and adhock staff with dollars to rig elections for their party in the states. The first tranche of the bribe is paid the night before the election, and final tranche is paid immediately the results are announced. I know this from a friend who works with INEC. This is why Tinubu paid governors to decamp to APC. If Nigerians want to sack Tinubu from Aso Rock in 2027, we should be ready to vote, and implement the rig and die policy.

Let me tell you how it happened. Nigeria’s ginger export hit zero from N26 billion within 3 years. The official story blames fungal blight. But here is what actually happened. When Nigerian farmers lost their indigenous seed supply, grant-aided interventions arrived with replacement seeds. An associate professor at Lagos Business School flagged publicly that some of those interventions involved GMO organisms that weakened indigenous crops and compromised soil health. That is not a conspiracy theory because it is a documented academic concern. Now that Nigeria spoke got destroyed by the GMO seedlings….what is not the result? Nigeria was forced to import ginger from China to fill domestic demand. Chinese ginger has none of the pungency, oleoresin content, or quality that made Nigerian ginger a global premium product. And the ginger now sitting in Nigerian markets tastes like wood because it essentially is wood. The two indigenous varieties that built Nigeria’s global ginger reputation, the Tafin Giwa and Yatsun Biri, had decades of soil relationship and quality built into them. Once the soil was degraded and those seed varieties were displaced, the product that returned was a pale imitation. Nigeria did not just lose a market. It lost a seed. And without a National Ginger Seed Bank, which nobody has built, it may never fully get it back.

Now that Nigerian farmers can no longer export ginger because their seeds and soil have been strategically destroyed, here’s a list of so-called influencers who allegedly took blood money from the devil to promote GMO in the country.

This is what GMO did to Nigeria’s market. Those idiots who collected money to promote GMO and Bill Gates are now silent. Farmers’ adoption of GMO weakened indigenous crops and compromised soil health for ginger.

“Nigeria happened to me yesterday after I was going home from work. Police arrested me, my colleague, and other people around us at 8 a.m., took my phone, and drove us to the police station. They said they were raiding the area. They didn’t find any illegal substances on me. When I asked why they arrested me, they slapped me. They put me in a cell with other men. They told me to bring ₦200,000. I had to beg for ₦100,000 for me and my colleague, and they made us sign a statement saying they didn’t extort us. I’m traumatized.” — Lady shares.
