I’ve worked on a lot of games over the years and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised to learn about how this franchise affected so many players’ lives. The global reach is really impressive to witness. I’ve not seen such an outpouring of affection for a series, in the gaming world, to the level I’ve seen with this game. Pretty spectacular, warriors.

I found another home in Warframe back in 2023, as one of my Destiny friends thought I’d enjoy that game too and have been since.
I’ve been holding back tears all day so to hear this from Space Mom feels like a much needed hug..thank you 💜

At the age of 16, me and my best friend (who gave me the name 'rebulast'), picked up our midnight release editions of Halo 3, sped home, told our parents it was important, and played more Halo than you could imagine. There is no Warframe without the legacy of Bungie games.

Listen, I know the news of D2 is sad. Hell, I was crying most of my evening about it. But for the love of god, can we not review bomb Marathon or say this was Marathons fault?? Can we PLEASE let one IP survive for those that enjoy it??

@garm_8492 SIE is cleaning house in quite possibly the most predictable outcome; D2 died and Marathon got unjustifiably slandered which meant that Bungie’s brand equity tanked; the tax man cometh in the form of layoffs.

When Heroes of the Storm ended development I was very sad, I loved that game. People kept saying “play league or dota” most were trying to be helpful but they were just annoying.
I was sad the game I liked was ending and didn’t need people telling me how their moba was better.

the 4 piece last discipline armor set allowed for essentially infinite special ammo during damage :( a banner shield or 3 shot goldie would let the whole team print special bricks for eachother with a scout mod on your helmet

D2 will always be my home. I've met such amazing people because of this game, some of which I would consider either close friends or family. I'll still keep playing the game like always, with Warframe being featured as well.
I'd also like a hug, been crying all day...

There’s so many things running through my head, I wasn’t even going to say anything because I’m so scattered.
12 years of one of the best adventures I’ve ever been on, in game and in real life. I met my husband in D1. I’ve made so many meaningful, real friendships within the Destiny franchise. It has shaped my life more than I can explain.
Bungie, I’ll be watchin’ you, and I’ll always be excited to see what you cook up next. 🩵
And if you read this far, and you wanna get real serious about Pantheon, I would LOVE to ride in someone’s backpack 🎒

It’s a testament to what @Bungie has created over many moons with so many freakin’ talented artists from many different creative galaxies.
To be a part of such an effort in the video game space is rarified air, indeed. And I’m thankful for not only every production minute but the amazing tales and happy memories fans have shared with me about the game from all over the world. 🌎
I’m so appreciative of all the players who have put in more hours that I can imagine into this fantastical universe.
