If the choice is Sandro Tonali or Elliot Anderson, I’m taking Tonali without blinking. We don’t need another “hardworking project” midfielder. We need someone who can actually control a game, dictate tempo and bring some edge to that soft centre. Tonali walks into our midfield and raises the level instantly. Anderson is potential — Tonali is presence. If we’re serious about competing again, this shouldn’t even be a debate.
