The Athletic Ranked all the Schedule Releases 32. Arizona Cardinals The Cardinals used AI to bring together a Zoom meeting of the mascots. I found it hard to keep up with the chat while also watching the mascots interact on camera. Some highlights include the Chargers going offline when their mascot is called out for not being real (the Chargers don’t have a mascot), and the Raiders’ mascot stalking quarterback Fernando Mendoza on LinkedIn during the ending clips. But overall, not my favorite.

Two examples: 1. SEDITION. -PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY: “All I did was remind service members of their duty to not follow unlawful orders." -REALITY: Kelly encouraged U.S. military members to refuse to follow lawful orders they disagree with politically by pretending they are “unlawful orders.” 2. UNLAWFULLY REVEALING CLASSIFIED INFORMATION. -PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY: “All I did was repeat what Secretary Hegseth said in a public hearing.” -REALITY: Hegseth made generic allusions publicly about the industrial base’s ability to replenish stocks of precision munitions. What Hegseth said was unclassified. Kelly, OTOH, went into specifics regarding stockpiles of specific munitions, listing them by name. More importantly, he made clear that the information he was stating publicly came from a CLASSIFIED briefing. One of the keys to handling classified info is to never confirm or deny the accuracy of the info if it is ever discussed in a non-classified forum. Kelly specifically CONFIRMED classified information. This is a grotesque OPSEC breach. I find Kelly so morally objectionable because of this sleaze ball behavior. He knows EXACTLY what he is doing, and he knows his braindead Democrat goon enablers will en masse repeat his plausible deniability lies to protect him. Kelly is one of the most disgusting creatures ever to crawl out of the primordial ooze of the D.C. Swamp. DISGUSTING.

Here’s where we stand. The Good: President Trump is paying TSA agents, and the current bill the Senate just sent over to the House re-opens DHS. ICE and Border Patrol will continue arrests and deportations, being primarily funded through the OBBB. Democrats did not succeed in sabotaging border and immigration enforcement in any substantive way. The Bad: the Senate goes on a two week recess without passing the SAVE America Act, stand-alone voter ID, or funding all of DHS through the normal process. Democrats threw a wrench into our efforts to deliver on issues which enjoy broad support among the American people. The Ugly: Congress, especially the Senate, cannot skate by relying on President Trump to solve all our problems. Republicans have to justify their majorities by fighting for permanent policy victories, not can-kicking with unrealistic reconciliation promises. If we do not stand and fight today, we will not inspire Americans in November.

Let’s summarize where we are after a 40+ day Democrat shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security. 1) ICE and CBP are funded, thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts and the foresight of President Trump and Republicans in Congress. 2) After holding DHS and the American people hostage for over 40 days, Dems got ZERO restrictions that would prevent ICE and CBP agents from doing their jobs safely. 3) Due to Dem obstruction of the appropriations process, ICE and CBP will get even more funding through budget reconciliation. 4) Dems have once again established themselves as the “Open Borders, Defund the Police” party heading into an election. 5) Dem leadership has proven once again they can’t be trusted to make a deal. Which begs the question if you’re a Dem senator or one of their left-wing supporters: What was this really all about?
