#ASAC24 is a really helpful conference. Diagnosis of Alzheimer’s is more complex than I thought. It’s not just a blood biomarker screening but a integrated system with community supports etc.

btw, the air quality of the tube is REALLY terrible, my mask turned black after two 10 mins tube journey. That's crazy!

I'm going to attend a conference today. And struggling on how I should survive from the lunch and refreshments time without wearing a mask when I have something.. *sigh*

Battling a fever post-Novavax vaccine today but writing emails to @cuny as a (formerly proud) alum, expressing my anger toward the treatment of students including from this week, not allowing students to use bathrooms, the brutality from the NYPD, and much more.

@XHeyuan @_CatintheHat @PharmaDRclinic I had my Novavax vaccination on 26 April. Apart from a slightly sore arm for a couple of days, I haven't had any adverse reactions. I certainly haven't had fever.

@PharmaDRclinic Everyone I know wants the Novavax vaccine! There are people up & down the country desperate for it but there seem to be hardly any pharmacies offering it. It would be super helpful if you could publish a list of those pharmacies which are offering Novavax (not just Pfizer).

Layered defence is important. I also appreciate some people, especially teens might feel too self-conscious to continue masking alone at school. Our kids have had no days off school (& no symptoms) since incorporating these oral & nasal sprays into our morning routine.

I just changed the HEPA filters of my CRbox on my desk. It's the first-time turning off and my room suddenly quiet that I can even hear my heartbeat. After changing, the new, clean, and white filters makes my desk even brighter. lol😂

@chillzaa wonderful strategies! My previous tutor's old shared -80 freezer failure when I about to graduate,😭 almost all the bacteria have to be moved to a -20(!!!) freezer because there is no additional -80 freezer in the whole building. It's really a nightmare😭

Every PIs nightmare... a -80 freezer failure after just 2.5 years. Thankfully, we were there when it happened, all our samples are safe and didn't warm above -65 during transfer to a backup. So what have I learned from this?
