Y3 read their persuasive letters to Y6 to see if they could convince them to join the Roman army. We now have a full class of new recruits! Good job Y3! 🥰🇮🇹
We loved our @mark10mission today and singing with Gabriel! We listened to Luke’s Gospel and talked about the Divine Mercy image. We look forward to our class Celebration of the Word based on today’s mission.

We finished the week with our class Celebration of the Word based on this week’s virtue ‘honesty’. We decided we should finish with ‘Shine Jesus Shine’ (using @mark10mission worship songs) asking God to help guide us in fulfilling our virtue. ❤️💛
Diversity week!We learned some Cantonese calculations and created our own,we coloured our own Rangoli patterns and we learned to write our name using Egyptian hieroglyphics and some even wrote theirs in Arabic. Tia demonstrated some Arabic for us in assembly too ❤️ 🇭🇰 🇮🇳 🇪🇬
3AY presenting all of our learning from Diversity week to KS2 this morning - we told them about our trip around the world in 5 days, and our wonderful artwork we created🌎
Our next stop on our trip around the world is Poland. We watched an interview with one of our parents who is from there and also got to try some traditional Polish treats and sweets. We have learned so many new facts that we didn’t know🇵🇱
On Wednesday in 3AY our trip around the world in 5 days took us to 🇮🇹 We also had a live author visit online @FloellaBenjamin and listened to her inspirational story, and enjoyed reading her storybook. In art we learned about artist Alma Thomas and had a go at relief painting🎨
As part of our Diversity Week Celebrations, we had a very special visitor called Imran, who came to talk to us all about the Five Pillars of Islam.☪️ we really enjoyed it and learned a lot 💜
