Yesterday, May 19th, in Abuja, I attended the Presidential screening organised by our party, which took over two and a half hours. They carefully reviewed all my documents, including my degree certificates, NYSC credentials, and age declarations. During the process, I also addressed questions regarding my vision for a new Nigeria and the type of leadership our nation urgently needs right now. Following this, I was cleared and received the presidential nomination form I had previously paid for. I would like to commend the screening committee, led by former governor Sam Egwu, for their thorough and professional approach. Additionally, I appreciate our party's leadership for upholding the democratic process. A New Nigeria is POssible. - PO

You come home from work and your kids rush to greet you. You quickly keep them warm because of the cold. Now 39 abducted students are in a forest somewhere… shivering, hungry, afraid. Who is keeping them warm? What type of food are they eating? FG & Oyo Govt must act fast.

This is more than a security crisis; it is a failure of collective humanity. We have become desensitised, consuming tragedy briefly and moving on, allowing indifference to normalise the unacceptable. To the families affected, I share in your grief. But grief alone is not enough. We must demand accountability and urgent systemic change. With everything happening, some people will still collect 5k to sell their conscience and vote against their own interest. Nobody knows which church, school, or community is next. We’re all living in uncertainty until it hits close to home. We can't continue like this.💔

I am sick to my stomach watching that video of the teacher being beheaded in Oyo State. You dedicate your life to teaching mathematics and building the next generation, only to be abducted and slaughtered. This is not life! The primary duty of ANY government is the protection of lives. If a teacher cannot even be safe inside a classroom, then nobody is safe. Security operatives are dying, and citizens are bleeding. We are not angry enough! We cannot normalise this madness. The government must wipe out these monsters and bring the remaining teachers home alive. My heart bleeds for Mr Oyedokun. He did not deserve this. My deepest condolences go to his family. Please @oyostategovt @seyimakinde @NGRPresident. Something HAS to be done!

A teacher beheaded and a nation is silent

So those kids will be in this rain, this cold weather that has kept me under my duvet. The mosquito bite, the hunger, the thirst… Their lives will never be the same again. I just pray they make it out alive first.

I survived a kidnap attempt on my way to Lagos from Ibadan along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway — around Ajebo, Ogun State. At about 7:30pm, one of them suddenly jumped out from the bush carrying two heavy objects, trying to force my car to stop. He threw the first object directly in front of my car while I was negotiating a slight bend. I managed to swerve around it, then he threw the second one. Before the others could position themselves, I brushed the main guy that attacked with my car and sped off. Thankfully, I escaped alive, but my bonnet, bumper, headlamps, and fender were badly damaged. Omo… no be country una dey live ooo.

Guys please I want everybody to know that it is not a normal occurrence for kidnappers to stroll into schools, kidnap students and teachers and behead the teacher and the leadership of the country is quiet about it, trust me it’s not a normal thing politics aside!

Beheading a whole person in front of me will send me into psychotic shock. Imagine doing that in front of abducted children in a country where they’ll never get comprehensive mental help. Your life is as good as destroyed even if you escape. Please guys, we must end APC today!

There’s a 2 year old kid among the children kidnapped in Oyo state. There are about (8) 4 years old kids & about (10) 5 years old kids. This is failure. Huge leadership failure!!!
