genuinely nobody says this, and besides the tutorial you just described every pokemon game ever. HG/SS are good remakes of bad games, but that doesn’t make them the best games in the franchise, cause they aren’t

The same person who tells you these are bad games because you can't get Slugma until lategame (It's not even true) will tell you that the games with corny characters, piss baby goo goo difficulty and a never ending tutorial are the best entries in the series

The only other game that had this problem were the gen 1 games, every other pokemon game after got it down almost perfectly.

@Yoshiality @7sLuckyNumber The only moment when the level curve actually makes the game worse is when you have to defeat like 15 lvl ratattas in Rocket's hideout. That's the worst part in the game and that would be a valid critique but you always talk about "muh level curve" and don't explain why is bad.

And yes, they aren't valid criticism because they are dumbass things that do not affect gameplay at all and you keep repeating bc some obnoxious youtuber said it once.
