Just some personal complaint: I feel society today rewards vertical content so much. I'm not just talking about social media; even the job market values people who focus on just one thing. This is bad for me because I literally love to try out everything.
And probably it's also bad for innovation? Often, innovation is achieved by combining ideas from different fields.
I’m excited to share that I will be moving to New York City to join @FordhamNYC as a tenure-track faculty in Finance at the @FordhamGSB.
It's been a tough 3 years in the academic wilderness post-PhD, so I’m deeply grateful to my PhD advisors for sticking with me when they didn't have to, in particular @DimitrisPapan20 and @ProfJiang and Winston Dou.
I very much look forward to this next chapter in NYC.
