@US_Stormwatch @Cal_OES Your hook of “A megafloood is coming for California that will likely be the worst natural disaster in world history” is the issue. You probably should have asked the question instead of making a definitive statement.

I want to address the misinformation that is being spread by CAL OES, regarding a video I posted about the ARkStorm. The CAL OES video starts with a header saying: “WARNING: This video is full of misinformation.” Details on the potential ARkstorm in my video come from the USGS study “Overview of the ARkStorm Scenario” and “ARkStorm 2.0,” a study conducted by nationally recognized climate scientists. The CAL OES video claims that my video makes the statement that the ARkStorm “is about to hit our state.” No such statement exists in my TikTok video. My video states “This megaflood named the ARkStorm, has a nearly 30% chance of occurring within the next 30 years.” I had a cordial conversation with CAL OES staff this afternoon sharing my concerns about the misstatements in their video. I have great respect and appreciation for what CAL OES does, but unfortunately, they spread incorrect information about my video.

My saga with the @sfchronicle continues... Their website still puts me in an infinite loop of forcing me to buy a subscription and then telling me I already have an active subscription. At this point, my subscription has just turned into a donation to keep newspapers alive.

This is exactly why I stopped working in sports. Low pay and insane work hours. Some of the best years of my life in my early 20s, but not worth it as an adult with bills and responsibilities.

This is why newspapers are failing. Every time I try to read the @sfchronicle I have issues signing into my account. I pay them to receive local news, but I end up spending 10 minutes trying to sign in and eventually give up. It feels digital news shouldn’t be this difficult.
