@StrongMoist Definitely. Its main issue is its length, I think. Even disregarding anime filler, the series kinda drags towards the end. JJK has nearly the same plot beats in its second half as Naruto's but it feels more smooth 'cause it's half the length.

@aevanko I think what they were going for was the Hunter both announcing their intentions and simultaneously accepting the responsibility if Alma/the Guild disagreed with them. It's what they thought was the right thing to do, even should the authorities disagree.

Random thought: awfully brash of the hunter to self-authorize a hunt at the end of Wilds considering it could land them in hot water with the Guild Knights. Overreach of power and authority for the sake of being a badass on camera :p
