Nah, never bought into that. OG RE3 was pure action awesomeness: a machine gun-wielding hot chick expelled by an explosion, zombies all around her, ready to kick undead ass. OG RE4 had its scary tint early on in the village, but then it basically turns into 007 in Spain. Whether we like it or not, kick-ass action has been part of the RE games early on. Awesome and strangely wholesome digital hamburgers.

It funny, I started replay RE 6 a week ago because I missed Ada Wong (and too cheap to buy Seperated Way), and now I see a lot of Resident Evil 6 revisionism on my timeline Not that I complain tho, I love RE 6 as an action game
